The JEBEL project funds the fieldwork of its research teams and annual international Workshops for the duration of the project. Fieldwork is linked to the time of the Workshop to optimize the use of our funding.

JEBEL’s 2008 Workshop was in Sinai.

JEBEL's 2009 Workshop was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

JEBEL's 2010 Workshop was in the Northern Eastern Desert of Egypt. 

JEBEL's 2011 Workshop will be in Jordan.
